چکیده :
Offshore Fixed Platforms (OFP) is a massive structures with oil well drilling, extraction, and processing facilities. Today, Tidal energy is one of the potential providers of clean energy in the marine and oceanic power system. This paper proposes a new control approach using an intelligent hybrid controller based on a meta-heuristic algorithm for frequency control in an OFP microgrid. The studied microgrid is configured with the presence of a diesel generator, energy storage devices, and a Tidal energy converter system. Simulations are performed in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. PIDN, TIDF, and PIDN-TIDF controllers control the microgrid frequency. The coefficients of the controllers are optimized by the Zebra Optimization Algorithm (ZOA). The ISTAE time domain performance index is the objective function in the frequency control strategy. The results show that the frequency control strategy with the PIDN-TIDF controller performs much better than other control schemes. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proven in terms of response speed, reduction of maximum overshoot and maximum undershoot, and robustness to uncertainties. The proposed controller has a faster response speed than other control methods, And the response speed to fluctuations has been significantly improved. Almost in terms of reduction of maximum overshoot and reduction of maximum undershoot of fluctuations, it has been enhanced by 30-60% on average in different scenarios.
