چکیده :
All equipment and components in a distribution network are inter-connected, so any variation in one component affects the rest of the equipment’s performance. Therefore, in any distribution network, the equipment utilized must always be controlled and monitored to put their performance in a stable and standard range. Regardless of the kind of equipment utilized in the distribution network and the unexpected variations in components for various reasons, distribution companies must consider the challenge of reducing losses and increasing efficiency. Generally speaking, reducing losses and increasing efficiency are considered as optimization problems. There are effective operational components for optimization in a distribution network, but because the voltage level in the distribution network has a strong relationship with reactive power, reactive power optimization is very important and challenging. Many methods are used to modify reactive power changes. In this research, we will investigate the methods of optimizing reactive power change in the distribution network. In this regard, the method of using the improved quantum particle swarm algorithm and the improved genetic algorithm will be reviewed and subsequently the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods will be evaluated. Finally, the research results and suggestions for use in distribution networks will be presented.
