چکیده :
This study evaluates the electrical infrastructure required to power a conceptual amusement park featuring electric boats on Hormuz Island, located in southern Iran—a region with notable tourism potential. The research focuses on harnessing the island's abundant solar resources by comparing three photovoltaic (PV) system configurations: dual-axis tracking, single-axis tracking, and fixed solar arrays. Simulations conducted using the PVSyst software assess various performance metrics, including energy output, system efficiency, losses, and economic feasibility. Results indicate that while dual-axis tracking systems deliver the highest efficiency, fixed solar arrays offer substantial cost advantages with only a slight reduction in performance. Consequently, fixed arrays emerge as the most practical solution for providing sustainable energy to the envisioned amusement park. This work underscores the potential of renewable energy, particularly solar power, in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing the energy needs of remote islands lacking access to conventional power networks.
