Comparative investigation of adsorption of agricultural pesticides on zeolite imidazole frameworks (ZIF8)

چکیده :
Water pollution by pesticides has led to very dangerous environmental problems that endanger human life. Therefore, the effective removal of pesticides from the aquatic environment is very important. As a result of this issue, many methods have been used to remove this pollutant, but the high energy used by these methods makes their application challenging. adsorption is one of the most promising methods for pesticide removal due to its low cost, simple operating conditions, and very low energy consumption. In this context, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as competitive adsorbents due to their easy functionality, tunable pore size, high surface area, and easy production. Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) are a subset of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) that are mainly composed of tetrahedrally coordinated transition metals.Zif8 is a series of organic imidazole frameworks that has a unique structure. Therefore, due to the importance of this issue, we investigated this method as well as the work done, the method of synthesis and production of Zif8 and the available results. In the following, we investigated the adsorption mechanism and environmental parameters affecting the adsorption process.
