Implementation and investigation of a Blockchain based method for natural gas audit

چکیده :
Natural gas is a critical energy resource that plays a vital role in residential heating, industrial processes, and power generation across the globe. With increasing environmental concerns and the need for sustainable energy consumption, efficient management of natural gas resources has become essential. This paper presents a blockchain-based framework designed to optimize natural gas usage while incentivizing conservation efforts among residential consumers. The framework is first outlined, followed by the development and implementation of a corresponding smart contract. Subsequently, the contract's efficiency and performance are evaluated using the Remix platform to assess the practical viability of the proposed model. A similar approach has previously been demonstrated successful in water consumption management systems.
